This project is a generative infographic created using a custom program in Processing. Artist data collected from Artsy.net was plotted to reveal patterns based on gender, country, and active time period. In addition, markers for major world events were added to the timeline to provide a larger context. Each circle on the timeline represents one artist in the database. Final infographic size is 30 x 62".
